Linksys Router

To upgrade the firmware of the router, do the following (click the hyperlink for instructions on that step)

NOTE: The steps below may be different depending on the type of router you are using. However, these steps should be similar enough to apply to other routers. If you need to know the router number, click here.

You will need to Get the gateway address
You will need to Log on to the wireless router
You will need to know the firmware version
Check the Linksys website to see if they have a newer version of the firmware. If they do, you will need to download the firmware
You will need to upgrade the firmware version
Restart the router
