Ways to avoid spam
There is no way to completely avoid spam but there are things you can do to limit the amount of spam that you get.
Create an email address just for registering products.
If you are using Outlook, create different folders and have valid mail go to those folders. Anything that goes to the inbox will either be spam or mail, that you haven't created a rule for yet. Click here for information on creating folders.
If you use Outlook, use the Outlook Junk mail feature.
Create rules to deal with your email. Have a rule to move email from a specific email to a specified folder. You can also use rules to delete or move unwanted email. For information on creating rules, click here.
If you are using America Online and go into chats, use a different screen name than the email address you use for mail. Click here for information.
