How to disable Google Updater from starting 

If you do not want to delete Google update but you do not want it to run, here is how to do that.

  1. Access Run or Search window

  2. Type Taskschd.msc in the open field

  3. Click OK

  4. Click the Task Scheduler Library folder on the left pane. This displays a list of current tasks in the right pane.

  5. Right-click both Google Update items

  6. Click Delete

  7. Click Yes button

  8. Close Task Scheduler

  9. Access Run or Search window

  10. Type Services.msc

  11. Click Enter

  12. Right-click the Google Update Service

  13. Click Properties

  14. Click the drop-down menu next to Startup Type

  15. Click Disabled

  16. Click Apply

  17. Restart the computer

If this doesn't work, you will need to uninstall the Google programs that uses the Updater
