IDE Power cable
The power connector will only plug in one direction on the IDE device (Unless you force it and then it will not work). You will notice that two ends will be notched and two edges will have corners. Just line them up. There is several power connectors that is coming off the power supply. The connectors are interchangeable so it doesn't matter which one you use. There is only one power cable for the floppy and it is a different size than the ones for the IDE device.
NOTE: The power cable can be difficult to remove. There is no connectors to remove before removing the power connector from the drive. The power connector is only pushed in the drive. However they fit snug and can take time to wiggle it loose.

If you are having a problem with an IDE device, try unplugging the power connector to the device by wiggling it as you pull on the power connector. (It is usually connected pretty snug). You can also try a different power cord. (If there is not one free, then swap power with another device)
