Install Active X

When you are downloading a program with Windows XP, it protects your system by requiring you to install the Active X before the download can start.  Follow these instructions

  1. A bar may appear under the address bar with a message. The message will say "This site might require the following ActiveX control: '(name of site', Click here to install...") the name of the site will be in the message.
  2. Click the Internet Explorer information bar to display install options
  3. From the displayed ActiveX information bar options, select Install ActiveX Control...
  4. If it doesn't install the site may have alternative steps for you to take.
  5. Another Install will pop up. Click on Install

If you get the message that active X failed to install, you have to enable it in the settings. Click here for instructions.
