How to access the Local Settings folder

To view this folder, you will have to unhide the folder. To unhide do the following

Unhide the user folder you want to see the Local Settings folder

To access the folder, do the following

Open Windows Explorer
Double-Click Drive C

Double-click Documents and Settings

Double-click The user (in this example, it will be Jesse)

Double-click Local Settings

BE CAREFUL IN NAVIGATING OR ALTERING FILES IN THIS DIRECTORY. MODIFICATIONS CAN CAUSE THE SYSTEM TO NOT BOOT PROPERLY AND CAN CAUSE DATA LOSS.
