Connecting a Keyboard
To connect a keyboard do the following

There is two types of keyboards
-
USB - Can be plugged in while the computer is on (on rare occasions you may still have to reboot the computer to get it to work but in general, it should work without rebooting.)

The keyboard can be plugged into any USB port on the computer except for the USB 3.0 (they have a blue connector to indicate it is 3.0.)

PS2 - usually requires you to reboot the computer. Not always though.

PS2 connector for the keyboard is generally purple but that is not always the case. Sometimes they are a different color
