Access Safe Mode from Memory Stick

If you do not have a System Recovery Memory Stick, you will need to create one. Click here for instructions

To boot using the disk, follow these steps

  1. Insert the memory stick in the USB port of the computer

  2. Reboot or turn on your computer

  3. Boot to the memory stick (if it will not boot, you will need to go into the bios and check the boot order. Set it to boot to the removable device)

  4. Select the Keyboard you want to use

  5. Click Troubleshoot

  6. Click Advanced options

    7.    

  7. Click Startup Settings

    8.    

  8. Read the information about booting into Safe Mode

    9.    

  9. Press the Function Key F4 to enter Safe Mode
