Pin program to Start Menu 

Windows 7 does not have a Quick Launch. However you can pin programs to the taskbar.

to pin a program to the taskbar, do the following (For this example, we are going to pin the HP Solution Center program to the taskbar)

  1. Open a HP Solution Center so the program is listed on the Taskbar

  2. Right-click the HP Solution Center

   

  1. Click Pin this program to taskbar

 

Now that icon will always be on the taskbar. To access the program, just click on the icon.

If you decide you do not want it to be pinned to the taskbar, you can remove it by doing the following

  1. Open a HP Solution Center so the program is listed on the Taskbar

  2. Right-click the HP Solution Center

   

  1. Click Unpin this program from taskbar

 

You can arrange the icons on the taskbar by dragging the icons to the desired location.
