Changing outgoing server to 587 for Comcast in Windows Mail

For help with setting up a Comcast account in Windows Mail, click here

For assistance with changing the Outgoing server of Comcast account to 587, follow these steps 

  1. Click Tools

  2. Click Accounts

   
  1. Select your e-mail account

  2. Click Properties

   
  1. Click Settings

   
  1. Verify Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected

   
  1. Back at the Properties window, click Advanced

  2. Set Outgoing mail (SMTP) to 587

  3. Click OK

   
  1. Click Close
