Adjusting Amount of Hard Drive Used for Recycle Bin
If you want to adjust the amount of hard drive space that is used for the recycle bin, do the following...
- Right click on the Recycle Bin
- Click on Properties

- If you don't want files to go to the Recycle Bin, put a check in "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted."

- If you have more than one drive and want to adjust each drive separately, put the dot on Configure drives independently.
- Move the slider to the setting you desire.
NOTE: Increasing the percentage will use more hard drive space. Decreasing the percentage will use less hard drive space but less items will be saved. If the space is filled, the recycle bin will throw out the oldest to make room for the newest entry.
