Sign into MSN Messenger

  1. Open MSN Messenger
  2. Enter the email address
  3. Enter Password
  4. Click Sign in

 

Log out of MSN Messenger

  1. Click File
  2. Click Sign out

Switch to another email address

  1. Log out of the MSN Messenger (but don't close MSN Messenger)
  2. You will be in the log in screen
  3. Click the down arrow on the email address
  4. Click on Sign in with a different e-mail address
  5. Type in the E-mail Address
  6. Type in the password
  7. Click Sign on

Set the default email for MSN Messenger

  1. Enter the email address you want to be the default email address
  2. Enter the password for the default email address
  3. Put a check in Remember me on the log in screen before signing in

Set MSN Messenger to remember the password

  1. Put a check in Remember my password on the log in screen before signing in

 

Set MSN to automatically sign you into MSN Messenger when it opens

  1. Put a check in Sign me in automatically on the log in screen before signing in

Can't sign into Windows messenger and MSN Messenger at the same time

You can't sign into MSN messenger and Windows Messenger at the same time. If you are signed into MSN Messenger and you try to sign in on Windows Messenger, you will get signed off of MSN Messenger. Same thing will happen if your signed into Windows Messenger  and try to log into MSN Messenger.
