Save As

If you want to save a new photo, design or project, do the following

  1. Open Paint

  2. Click File

   

  1. Click Save As

   

  1. Navigate to the location of the file you want to open

   

  1. Select the extension you want the picture to have

If you want to rename a photo that you have already saved to a different name, or extension, do the following (in the following example we are going to change the filename from renameext.gif to beach.jpg.

 

  1. Open Paint

  2. Open the file renameext1.gif

   

  1. Click File

   

  1. Click Save As

   

  1. Choose JPEG picture

   

  1. Delete what is listed there and type beach 

     
 

  1. Click Save
