Create iso image

You should make an .iso image of your program CDs. The reason for this, is if your program disk gets damaged or lost, you can create another disk. To create an .iso image do the following

  1. Open Roxio Creator DE
  2. Click  on Copy
   
  1. Click Create Image
   
  1. Put the program CD in the drive
  2. Choose the drive that has the program CD in it
   
  1. Choose the location that you want the .iso saved at
   

 

  1. Change the file type to ISO Image (*.iso)
   

 

  1. Click the start button
   

 

  1. You will see the status of the progress
   

 

You should also save the .iso file to a second location such as a DVD or another hard drive. This way if the hard drive or the location you saved it to goes bad, you will have it saved in a second location.
