Charging for messages

Facebook is starting to charge $1 to send messages to someone that is not on your friend's list. When you create a message to someone that is not on your friend's list, you will see this

You do not have to pay the $1.

However if you do not pay, the message goes into the OTHER folder. Majority of people do not know about the OTHER folder and will not see the folder and will miss the message you sent them.

Facebook has buried the OTHER folder so you will not see it right away. Majority of people do not know the OTHER folder exists and will not see that they have a message there. For instructions on accessing the OTHER folder, click here.
