Change Settings for Ads 

 Facebook is now using your name and photos in their ads. When they do that, you do not get any money out of them using your information.

The ads section looks harmless because your information is only shared with your friends. However if a friend allows friends to see their information, you information is shared with theirs. therefore eventually your photos and likes are shared with everyone and they will use your name and photo as if you are promoting the product.

If you do not want them to use your information, you will have to make changes in your ad settings. Below is how to change the settings on the ads.

1. Access Ads (Click on the hyperlink for instructions)

2. To the right of Third Party Sites you will see

3. Click Edit

4. Change the drop down to No one

5. To the right of  Ads & friends you will see

6. Click Edit

7. Now you will see

8. Change drop down to No one

9. Click Save Changes
