Photos can be used post circulating
The following is a post that is going around Facebook for a long time. (and many others similar to this one)...
"Friends, don't
forget that starting tomorrow despite the commotion around covid 19,
the new rule begins on Facebook according to which your photos can
be used. Remember the deadline to post your disapproval of this use
or possible misuse is today!!! They could be used in lawsuits
against you. Everything you posted will be made public, even
messages that have been deleted, for all of the above I record by
this means that:
I DON ' T ALLOW OR AUTHORIZE that facebook UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE
uses my information, photos, or any data related to my person or the
people who on my profile, pages or groups appear, asImismo messages
or posts, both past and future.
With this statement, I give a notification
and record of notice to facebook that it is strictly prohibited from
disclosing, copying, distributing or taking another action against
me based on this profile, my pages or groups and / or its content.

This is a scare tactic to bog down Facebook with senseless posts.
If anyone has access to your pictures, they have the ability to save a copy of your pictures, redistribute them, and so forth.
You can contact them and inform them to take it down if they post your pictures. However, if they refuse, you do not have much recourse to stop it. You can take them to court but that will be expensive and you would have to prove the picture belongs to you. You may also need to show copyright on the photo.
Best thing to do is not post any picture you do not want stolen. Second best thing is have your files limited to friends only and only allow those you trust on your friends list.
