Link wants you to log in

If you click on a link or a picture and it takes you to a login screen while you are using Facebook

DO NOT ENTER YOUR FACEBOOK CREDENTIALS!!!
It is a fake login on a website outside of Facebook to get your login information. Once they have that, they can log into your account and access everything on your account.
Below is one of the scams going around doing this. This one is old and may not be used any longer. However it is just an example. They may use another picture or text for you to click on.

However the dead give away that it is not legit is if the link you click on takes you to a login window.

If you have fallen for this, change your password immediately and log out of every session of Facebook that you are logged in at. To find out every location you are logged in under or need to log off all or some of your sessions click here.
