Troubleshoot No Disk
If you get the following
You can try the following
- Push the eject button on the floppy drive. Sometimes a disk that is in the drive can cause this (don't assume there is not one in the drive)
- If you started getting this after you installed a program, Uninstall the program and see if the issue goes away.
- If you know when this started, try a system restore
- Try the windows installer cleanup
- Try limiting MSCONFIG to see if anything there is causing the issue.
- Turn off your anti-virus to see if it is causing the issue.
- Use the Spyware Virus troubleshooter to make sure you are not infected
- Try running CHKDSK /R
- Try uninstalling the floppy drive controller
- Try changing the drive letters
- If you have Quicktime, try uninstalling it to see if the issue goes away.
