Serial Ports

This allows you to connect a communications or other devices that use a serial port. These ports are almost obsolete. Not many devices use the serial port.
You need to turn the system off before connecting or disconnecting a device from this port.
Not all computers have serial ports. The ones that do have either one or two serial ports. You can add more serial ports if you have an available PCI slot.
