Faye Nicks Taylor, age 75 of Goodlettsville passed away August 26, 2014. Mrs. Taylor was born in Madison, TN on December 7, 1938 to the late Howard Paul and Marie Griffin Nicks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Leslie Armstrong. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Joe C. Taylor, Sr.; children, Dawn Knox, Kelley (Keary) Gilbert, Joe C. (Jackie) Taylor, Jr. and Kevin (Melissa) Taylor; grandchildren, Christina (Eric) Kellner, Whitney Knox, Madison Taylor, Allison Taylor, Christopher Ashby, Kelsey Gilbert, Kyle Gilbert and Nicki Jolly; great-grandchildren, Makayla Armstrong, Mason Armstrong, Hannah Jolly, Levi Jolly and Emma Kellner; and one sister, Billie Laux. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, August 29th at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Slate officiating. Interment will be private in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 2-8 P.M. and Friday one hour prior to the service.
