Newton Gentry Welch Jr.

Mr. Welch was born in Nashville, TN on September 19, 1944 to Newton
G. Sr. and Pauline Welch. He was owner of Electric Service Inc.,
Industrial Sales Co., Inc. and Memories of the Eye Photography. He
also served as manager of Newton Motor Co. He served as president
and secretary of the Middle Tennessee Industrial Distributors
Associaton. He was a member of St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian
Church, an ordained minister of the Nazarene Church. He served as a
deacon and elder in the Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed singing,
dancing and performing. He was also a member of the Amalgamated
Order of the Red Bearded Santas. He was a family man and enjoyed
working and photography. He was preceded in death by his parents. He
is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathleen Welch; son, Newton G.
(Mary Kendall) Welch III; daughters, Jennifer Eklond and Laura
Ashley (Judson) Pyatt; grandchildren, Newton G. IV and Natalie G.
Welch, Jonathan and Jenna Kathryn Eklond, Lilly and Lincoln Pyatt;
sister, Lois (Lanny) McGowan; and mother-in-law, Genevieve D. Lish.
