How to wrap text in a cell
If the text is wrapped, the text will move down to the next line in the cell when it reaches the end of the cell. This will increase the height of the row. If wrap is not turned on, it will continue to the right till the text is done or comes across a cell with text in it.
If you want text to wrap in the cell, do the following..
- Highlight the cell or cells.
- Right click on the cell or cells
- Click on format cells.
- Click on the alignment tab.
- Put a check in Wrap Text.
If you don't want the text to wrap, do the following.
- Highlight the cell or cells.
- Right click on the cell or cells
- Click on format cells.
- Click on the alignment tab.
- Make sure the checkbox is unchecked for Wrap Text.
