Outlook Express works but not Outlook
Follow the following steps to get outlook to work. (The screenshots are from Outlook Express 6 and Outlook 2002. Your screens may differ but the procedure is similar)
- Open up Outlook. Express.
- Click on Tools
- Click on Accounts
- Click on the Mail tab
- Highlight your mail account (the name will vary per account)
- Click on Properties
- Copy down all the info under the General tab
- Copy down all the info under the Server tab
- Open Outlook
- Click on Tools
- Click on E-mail Accounts
- Click on view or change existing E-mail accounts and then click next
- Highlight your E-mail account and click change
- Make sure these settings match the settings in Outlook Express. Capitalization must match as well.
