Set up Microphone 

 

Windows 10

To access, do the following

  1. Click Speech Recognition

  2. Click Set up microphone

   

To use, follow these steps

  1. Welcome screen

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Select the type of microphone you are using

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Set proper microphone placement

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Read the sentence to adjust volume

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Microphone is set up

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Choose to Enable or disable document review

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Choose either Use manual activation or Use voice activation mode

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Click View Reference sheet below to see the reference sheet

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Put a check in box if you want it to run on startup

   

  1. Click Next

   

  1. Choose one of the following

    1. Start tutorial (click on icon for more information)

   

  1. Skip Tutorial (this will close out the window)
