DOS Command Ifshelpsys
Is the 32-bit Installable File System Manager used the service provided by this driver to assist in trapping real-mode file system and network-related APIs.
It is an external file not associated with the command.com. It is available in all versions of MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT
SYNTAX
The following line must be put into the Config.sys
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLP.SYS
ERRORS
When booting up the computer you get:
ERROR 3649: To load NetBEUI, the NDISHLP.SYS driver must be listed
in the [Network Drivers] section of the SYSTEM.INI file.
Ensure first that you are loading the IFSHLP in your config.sys file. If the file is being loaded in the config.sys then ensure that in your System.ini file that you have NDISHLP.SYS listed in the Transport= line in the [Network Drives] section.
