Internet Explorer repair Windows 95 & 98

This option may or may not be available on your system. If it is available then you can try this procedure. It may or may not fix the issue that you have. Accessing the Add/Remove programs may vary depending on the operating system that you are using.

Click on the hyperlink for instructions for that step.

Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
Double-click on Add/Remove Programs
If Microsoft Internet Explorer and Internet Tools is listed, Double-click on it
Click on Repair
Say yes to everything.
Reboot the computer
