Windows ME Power Management

Power management can cause more problems then it is worth. It can cause the system to hang. Power management may also cause other issues as well. If you are having an issue and want to see if power management is causing the issue, you can turn it off and see if the issue goes away. To turn it off, follow these steps.

Click on the hyperlink for instructions for that step.

Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
Double-click on Display
Click on Screensaver
Click on Settings (the one on the bottom of the screensaver)
Set everything to Never
Click on OK
