When this option is selected, it opens your email and attaches a file to it. Enter the person's email address and send it. The person on the other end will get the email and when he opens it, a connection will happen between you two.
A window will appear with a code

After the person connects to your system, you have the option of having him just view the desktop or allowing him full control of your system.
-
View only - If he or she can only view your desktop, then you will have to click on the desktop for the person. This is safer than giving him or her full control. However, it will be time consuming because you will have to click on items or do tasks for the person.
-
Grant control - If you grant control, then the person can use the system just as if the person is in the room with you. They will be able to do whatever tasks he or she needs to do on the system. However, it poses a threat to your system, so you will need to monitor the person's actions. If you do not, the person can do anything the person wants to on the system.
-
To grant control, a window will appear for you to either accept or deny the request
-
Also if the person can allow the person to decide to accept User Account Control prompts (if the user doesn't check this, then the user will have to accept or not allow any actions every time the helper does something)
-
Click Yes
NOTE: You are able to end the session at anytime with or without his permission. Once you close it out, he or she will not see or access your system. The code you gave him or her will no longer be valid. If you want the person to connect again, you will have to do the entire process over again.
-
If you want the person to still see your desktop but not have access, click Stop sharing
-
If you want to end the session all together, click the X to close
