Safely remove USB device

If you remove the USB device without properly ending services on the USB drive, it can corrupt the USB device if windows is using a file in the background .

Before removing the device, do the following

On the notification area that is on the Taskbar, Click the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media

On the menu, select the device you want to remove (your list will be different)

When Windows is done ejecting the device, you will get a message that it is safe to remove
