If you want to capture the color of an object to paint or draw another object with the same color, use the Color Picker. It will capture the color so you can paint an object with the same color.

To capture the color, do the following

  1. Open Paint

  2. If the Home tab is not selected, click the Home tab

   

  1. Click on Color Picker

   

  1. Click on the color in the picture that you want to capture

  2. Now the tool you want to use will have that color to use

NOTE:

Left mouse click with the Color Picker will select the Color 1 (outside edge of object). Right mouse click with the Color Picker will select the Color 2 (inside of object)
