Renaming Flash drive

There is flash drives out there as well as memory card readers. When you insert a flash drive into the computer, it gets assigned a drive letter. For more information on this, click here.

Flash card readers usually have 4 slots that you can insert cards into for you to view the contents of the card. Some flash card readers assign names to the drive to tell them apart. Others do not. If your card reader does not give descriptive names or you do not like the way it was named, you can change the name of it. This applies to flash drives as well.

To rename the drive, Right-click the drive and click rename.
