Here are places that try to find homes for animals. Some are shelters, some are animal control, some are organizations to assist, and other resources.

NOTE: I do not know how reliable these places are and what their policies is. I do my best to only post places that I feel are legit but I haven't had personal experience with most or all of them listed here. Please do your research on these before you make a decision.

If you want an animal, please remember they are not pets, they are family. A pet is owned and can be discarded. Family is a living and breathing animal (humans, dogs, cats, and other animals). Each deserves love and affection.

Also consider adopting from a a kill shelter or rescue!
