How to create PST file
Create PST file via Control Panel
- Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
- Double-click on Mail
- Click on Data File...
- Click Add
- Highlight Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
- Click OK
- Choose the location you want to save it (Best to save it under My Documents)
- Remove the (1) from the filename so it just says Personal Folders.pst
- Click OK
- Open Outlook
- Click on Tools
- Click on E-mail Accounts
- Make sure View or change existing e-mail accounts has the dot in it.
- Click Next
- Click New Outlook Data File... button
- Highlight Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
- Click OK
- Choose the location you want to save it (Best to save it under My Documents)
- Remove the (1) from the filename so it just says Personal Folders.pst
- Click OK
