If you have a device that is not responding, the service for that device may not be running.

In this example we are going to use Print Spooler to demonstrate

Double-click Print Spooler

On the Service status, it will show if the service is running or if it is stopped

If it is stopped and you want it to run, click Start

If it is running and you want it to stop, click Stop

When you are done with the setting, click Apply

Click OK

Set the startup type to what you want the service to always do when Windows loads

Check the dependencies and see if one of them is causing the issue.
