How to access the Local Settings folder
To view this folder, you will have to unhide the folder. To unhide do the following
- Unhide the user folder you want to see the Local Settings folder
To access the folder, do the following
- Open Windows Explorer
- Double-Click Drive C
- Double-click Documents and Settings
- Double-click The user (in this example, it will be Jesse)
- Double-click Local Settings
BE CAREFUL IN NAVIGATING OR ALTERING FILES IN THIS DIRECTORY. MODIFICATIONS CAN CAUSE THE SYSTEM TO NOT BOOT PROPERLY AND CAN CAUSE DATA LOSS.
