What kind of USB ports should it have?
Computer technology changes almost daily. To keep up with the technology is a full time job. To advice someone on what type of computer to get, is an impossible task. Everyone's needs are different. Everyone's preferences is different. Therefore, these pages are for your information to make an educated decision. There is so much information that it may confuse you more than help you. As of posting this page, USB is at USB 3.0. As technology changes, this may change also. If you are buying a new computer, make sure they have the latest version of USB. If you are trying to decide if you want to upgrade, decide if the version of USB is an issue for what you need. USB ports are backward compatible. a USB 1.1 device will work on USB 3.0 port. However a USB 3.0 device will not work on a USB 2.0 port.
