Delete Video Card driver

Follow the steps below to delete the video card from windows. The hyperlinks will give you directions to use that step.

1. Boot to safe mode

2. Go to Add/Remove Programs

3. Delete the video card if it is listed

4. Go to Device Manager (This will open in a different window).

5. Click on the plus next to monitor. Highlight the monitor (if there is more than one listed then highlight the first one. A monitor may not be listed. If that is the case, just skip to step 9.)

6. Press the Delete key

7. Say Yes

8. If there is more monitors listed, repeat steps 5 through 7 till all of them are gone.

9. Click on the plus next to Display Adapter (If you deleted the video in Add/Remove, then this may not be listed. Just skip to step 14 if this is the case.)

10. Highlight the video Adapter

11. Press the Delete key

12. Say Yes

13. If there is more Display Adapters, repeat steps 10 through 12.

14. Reboot the computer

15. If you was directed here by another procedure, Go back to the procedure and finish that procedure. If not then reboot the computer and reload the video driver.
