Poor ventilation
can kill a computer
There are computer desks on the market that allows you to put the
computer inside a compartment. If you do, you need to make sure it
has ventilation. A desk similar to this type
may not provide enough air for the
computer to breath. If it doesn't get enough ventilation, the
computer can overheat. If it overheats, your system can crash.
Chances are the hard drive will be the part that fails (but not
always) The hard drive is what holds all your information. If it
crashes and you have no backups, you can loose your files.
If you are going to use a desk like this, I would suggest installing
a small fan in the back of it.
