Access Safe Mode using F8

Windows 8

In Windows 7 and earlier, you are able to access the Advanced Boot Options window. From there you can select Safe Mode. With Windows 8, you can still access Safe Mode using this method. You press F8 or Shift + F8 right as you see the Windows splash screen.

However this is not the easiest task to do. Windows 8 loads real quick and you can easily miss the opportunity to activate the menu by pressing F8

Using UEFI Bios and SSDs can also make using F8 or Shit + F8 more difficult. Some sites will say it will not work at all. It will work but you may say a few choice words in the process.

My suggestion is to use one of the other methods.
