Save picture from webpage 

 If you see a picture on a website that you want to have a copy, below is how to get a copy

  1. Go to where the picture is

   

  1. Right-click the picture you want a copy of

   

  1. Click Save picture as...

   

  1. Choose the location you want to save it at

   

  1. Choose the name you want the picture to have (you do not have to accept the default name it has)

   

  1. Make sure it is on .jpg, .gif or the right format that you want

   

  1. Click Save

   

 

Now you have a copy of the picture

Note: If for some reason you can't download the picture, you will have to use the Snippet Tool.

 

If the item is not a picture but text that you want a copy of, you will need to use a program called the Snipping Tool.  It will save the text as a graphic file. Click here for information on how to use the Snippet Tool.
