Clear Internet Options

To purge cookies, delete temporary files, set security and other items in Internet Options, follow these steps

1. Go to Internet Options
2. Set the home page to a trusted site (i.e. http://www.google.com or some other site).

3. Under Browsing history, click Delete...

3. Select the items you want to delete

4. Click on Close 

5. Click on the Security tab
6. Set it to Medium
7. Click on the Privacy tab
8. Set it to Medium
9. Click on Click Clear SSL State(XP only)
10. Click on OK
11. Click on the Advanced tab
12. Click on Restore Defaults
13. Remove check for Enable 3rd party browser extensions (This doesn't apply to WinME)
14. Remove check on Enable Install on Demand (internet explorer and other)
15. Place a check in USE TLS 1.0
16. Click on apply
17. Click on OK
18. Close Control Panel
19. Modify the Host file
