Cannot shift objects off sheet

This is for Excel 2007 but may apply to older versions.

When you attempt to insert rows or hide columns you may get

"Cannot shift objects off sheet"

Changing the properties of objects such as cell comments may fix the issue. Follow these steps

Right-click a cell that has a hidden comment
Choose Show/Hide Comments
Position the cursor over one corner of the cell till you see a four-pointed arrow
Click to select the comment box
Select Format
1. This is located in the Cells group on the Home tab
Choose Format Comment
Click Properties
Click Move and Size with Cells
Click OK
