How to create PST file 

 

Create PST file via Control Panel

  1. Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
  2. Double-click on Mail
  3. Click on Data File...
  4. Click Add
  5. Highlight Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
  6. Click OK
  7. Choose the location you want to save it (Best to save it under My Documents)
  8. Remove the (1) from the filename so it just says Personal Folders.pst
  9. Click OK

Create PST file via Outlook

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on E-mail Accounts
  4. Make sure View or change existing e-mail accounts has the dot in it.
  5. Click Next
  6. Click New Outlook Data File... button
  7. Highlight Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
  8. Click OK
  9. Choose the location you want to save it (Best to save it under My Documents)
  10. Remove the (1) from the filename so it just says Personal Folders.pst
  11. Click OK
