Create an MP3 disk

Nero 2017

You can create MP3s to listen to audio. They do not take up much space so you can store numerous MP3s on the disk.  This is good if you want to put your music on a disk to listen in the car or on a music player.

You can play MP3 on just about every device that plays music files. You can put the MP3s on CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, and DVD+RW (sometimes DVD+RW has issues though). If you use the DVD disks, make sure the player can handle DVDs. Some only handle CDs.

Follow these steps to create a disk that will play mp3 media in mp3 players

  1. Open Nero

  2. Scroll down and select CD-ROM (ISO)

  1. Click New

  1. Select the drive you want to burn the disk with

  1. On the right, navigate to the folder containing the MP3s and drag the ones you want to the left

  1. Repeat step 5 till all the MP3s you want is on the left (or you run out of room)

  1. On the bottom will be a gauge to show how much room you have on the disk. (If you exceed the available space, it will turn red. When that happens, you will need to remove the ones that made it go red)

  1. When you are done adding to the selection, Click Burn Now
