Trim a movie using Sonic MyDVD

To trim the beginning and end of the movie to remove unwanted film video do the following. (if the file is already open go to step 11)

Click on the hyperlink for instructions for that step.

1. Click on Start
2. Click on All Programs
3. Click on Sonic
4. Click on MyDVD
5. Click on Create DVD
6. Click on DVD-Video
7. Click on Create or Modify a DVD-Video Project.
8. Click on File
9. Click on Open My Videos...
10. Click on the file you want and drag it to the screen of MyDVD
11. Click once with left mouse button to highlight the file you want to edit
12. Click on Tools
13. Click on Trim Movie
14. This is the program you can trim the beginning and end of the movie
15. Click and Drag the Green bar to choose the new starting point of the film. The picture will show the new starting point.
16. Click and Drag the red bar to choose the new ending point of the film. The picture will show the new ending point.
17. When you have them where you want them, click on OK.
18. Click on File
19. Click on Save
20. Choose the location you want the file saved in
21. Type in the name you want the file to have.
22. Click on Save
