Burn music to a CD to Play in Home Stereo or in a Car

Here is the procedure to create a music CD from songs from other CDs or other locations.

  1. Put the music CD in that you want to copy the songs from in the CD Drive that is not the burner. If you only have one drive, you may want to copy the contents to the hard drive. See step 2 for more information.
  2. If you have music that you want to copy from more than one CD, you should copy them to the hard drive first. Click here for information on why to do this and how to do it.
  3. Open Sonic RecordNow
  4. Click on the Music tab
  5. Click on Audio CD for car or home CD player
  6. Click on Find
  7. Click Browse
  8. Choose the drive the CD is in. (or the location on the hard drive that you copied it in like the Copied music folder if you followed the steps in step 2)
  9. Choose the songs that you want to burn to the CD
  10. Click Add
  11. Use the Up and Down arrow to arrange the songs in the order that you want.
  12. If you have a song listed that you don't want to burn, highlight it and click the X to remove the selection (it won't delete the song, it will only remove it from the list to be burned)
  13. Click the Record button

You should now have a CD to play in your home stereo or car.
