Facebook on Cell

If you do not want others to see that you are online, you will need to turn chat off. You will need to turn it off at 3 locations depending on what you use.

Turn off chat in Facebook on a browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge or other browsers)
Facebook on Cell (at the moment, this has no affect because of the Facebook app. However if they do away with the messenger app, then this will apply)
Facebook Messenger

NOTE

You can have Facebook open in several different browsers and on the cell. If you have Facebook open on Microsoft Edge, on the Cell, and in Chrome at the same time, you need to disable chat in each browser and on the cell. If you just turn it off in Microsoft Edge and the Cell, others will still see you signed on. You have to disable it in Facebook on Chrome as well.
