Subscribe Scam going around

There is a Subscribe post going around that says the following

Some things you need to know about doing this

If you go here

and uncheck the subscribed, it does not keep other users from seeing the post. What this does is keeps you from seeing the post. It does not affect the other users from seeing it. If you are getting posts from someone that you don't want posts from, you can click here and unsubscribe so you won't see them. This allows you to have control over what you see and not what others see. If the poster doesn't want everyone to see it, the poster will have to change the settings for the post.

To keep a specific post from being seen by others, the sender of the post has to do one of two things

  1. Send it via message where the poster (the one posting the message) chooses the recipients

  2. Take the message off Public and chooses a specific group

To choose a specific group do the following

  1. On the post you are creating, click Public

  1. Choose a group you want it to go to

  1. or you can choose Custom and type in the names of the people you want to see it.

  1. Notes

    1. When you choose specific people to see this message, their friends will also see the post

    2. If there is a specific person you do not want to see it, you will need to put that person under Hide this from
