Mr. Wendell (Big Daddy) Grisham, age 61 was born April 27, 1954 to
the late J.P. and Sadie Grisham. He passed January 22, 2016.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry and wife Pat. He is
survived by his wife Kathryn (Kathy); brothers Terry (Ruby) of
Hendersonville, Larry of Linden, TN, daughter Jade of
Hendersonville; sons Taylor of Hendersonville, Tyler (Destiny) of
White Bluff; grandson Dallas, several cousins, nephews and niece.
Wendell was retired from Ford Glass Plant with 31 years of service.
He loved his Ford family and had many wonderful memories of his time
there. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Alive
Hospice (Jennifer Kirkup) and Alive Hospice Madison Campus, Dr. Jill
Jones, Vanderbilt, our wonderful friends at Brookdale Senior Living,
our church family at Metro Baptist and our dear friend and pastor
Phil Martin. We would also like to thank all of our friends and
family for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support you have
shown us during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 12:00
noon in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Phil
Martin. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation
will be Tuesday 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
at Spring Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Wendell requested
that donations be made to the GoFundMe account on Facebook set up
for Kathy. There will also be an account set up for donations at
Regions Bank in Hendersonville, TN later in the week . Arrangements
